Ingredients of Undhiyu
- It's 1 tbsp of dry peas.
- You need 1 tbs of dry dal (broad beans).
- You need 1 tbsp of dry kala chana(chickpeas).
- It's 1 tbsp of dry lobia.
- You need 1 tbsp of dry red dal.
- It's 2 tsp of ginger garlic and green chillies (crushed).
- It's to taste of Salt.
- You need 4 tbsp of oil.
- It's 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Garam masala.
- Prepare 2 of Raw Bananas.
- It's 2 of medium size potatoes.
- You need 1 Bowl of Muthiya.
- It's 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- You need 1 of medium size Brinjal.
- It's 1 of yum.
- It's of To make Muthiya.
- It's 1 Bowl of Besan(Gram flour).
- Prepare 1/2 Bowl of Fenugreek leaves.
- Prepare 1 tsp of ginger garlic (crushed).
- It's to taste of Salt.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- It's 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- Prepare as needed of Oil to fry.
Undhiyu instructions
- To make Muthiya, mix all Muthiya ingredients together. Make a hard dough. Take a small portion and give shape like Muthiya and fry on medium-low flame. Keep it ready..
- Soak all the dry ingredients for overnight or minimum 8 hours. Chop all vegetables into big pieces..
- Take a heavy bottom cooker. Add oil, crushed ginger garlic and green chillies and asfoitida. Saute for some time. Add red chilli powder turmeric powder and Garam masala.
- Now add all soaked grams. Add vegetables..
- Add fried Muthiya. Salt and half glass water. Close the cooker and give 5-7 whistles. Let it cool. Open and mix it softly..
- Serve with Roti or Puri or Paratha.
