- In bowl,place all-purpose flour,baking powder and sift 3-4 times together and mix well.set aside. Take a mixing bowl add butter and beat well till butter looks pale. Add sugar mix it again till both well combined..
- Add 2 eggs and vanilla extract mix again then add sifted flour and beat well until all combined well. Place grease proof paper, buttered,in 9β inch baking pan and grease it with butter. Pour batter into baking pan and tap the pan on the kitchen counter a few times this method to help get rid of air bubbles and set aside..

In pot,add 6 cups of water,place wire rack (2-3 inches high),cover and preheat on high flame for 5-10 minutes. cover with foil tin ( if you donβt have foil tin and cover with lid tight then steamed on medium low flame for 40-45 minutes.
Insert a tooth pick/stick in baked cake if it comes out clean,cake is done..
