- In a pan boil water with salt. When water comes to boiling point add rice flour. Mix and stir and cover it with lid and turn off the heat. Let it rest with lid covered for 15 minutes..
- Now knead the dough with 2 and ½ tsp oil And divide the dough into 4 and knead each dough to make it smooth and soft..
- Roll each ball out with a rolling pin to make a thick flat bread and cut small discs with cookie cutter..
- Brush some oil and water over the flat bread. Now cut and design shape with tooth pick re use the cut off..
- Leave all pitha under air for 2-3 hours. These pitha can be stored dry as well. (If you want to store sun dry it for 5-6 day and put into airtight container till you want to fry them.).
- Make syrup with sugar and ½ cup of water, keep it aside. Two thread consistency. Then heat oil for deep fry. Fry each Nakshi Pitha on medium heat till it becomes deep golden brown..
- Now remove pitha from oil and put into syrup. Turn over and make sure it’s properly dip in syrup remove an d garnish. Finally serve this Nokshi Pitha..
