- You need of Roll of puff pastry.
- You need 100 g of pork and beef mince.
- You need of Chopped carrots onions and celery.
- You need 50 g of mozzarella.
- Prepare of Olive oil.
- You need Tablespoon of passata sauce.
- It's to taste of Salt and pepper.
- It's 1 of beaten egg.
Polpette di ragù in crosta instructions
- Cook the veg in olive oil for a few minutes until soft. Add the mince and brown. After a few minutes add the passata, salt and pepper and mix well. Simmer for about 25-30 mins adding water if it becomes too dry.
- When ready, set a side to cool. Meanwhile chop the mozzarella and preheat oven to 200. Put mince in a bowl, add mozzarella and mix. Add half the beaten egg to bind. Mix again.
- Roll out the pastry directly onto a baking tray. Divide in 12 equal parts. Make a ball with the meat mixture and add on top of each piece. Fold up and glaze with egg.
