- Prepare 1 kg of Crab.
- Prepare 4 slices of onions.
- You need 3 of tomatoes.
- You need 2 sprig of curry leaves.
- You need 2 of green chillies.
- You need 1 tsp of fenugreek.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1/2 cup of grated coconut.
- It's 1 tbsp of pepper corns.
- You need 1 tbsp of coriander seeds.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of cumin seed.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of fennel seed.
- Prepare 1 of cinnamon stick.
- Prepare 4 of dry red chilli.
- You need 4 tbsp of gingelly oil.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of chopped coriander.
- Prepare To taste of Salt.
Kadhai Crab instructions
- Dry roast grated coconut, cumin seed,coriander seed,fennel seed, pepper corns, dry red chilli, cinnamon sticks..
- Grind it into smooth paste and keep it aside..
- Heat oil in a kadhai and add methi seeds and sliced onions,saute and cook till it turns to golden brown..
- Add curry leaves,green chillies,salt and tomatoes.close and cook till it becomes mushy..
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and the grinded paste..
- Mix well and cook for 5-8 minutes.
- Add water and allow it to boil..
- Then finally add cleaned crab.Mix altogether and close the kadhai and cook till the crab is cooked completely..
- Once the crab is cooked,garnish with some chopped coriander and serve..
