- Prepare 1 tsp of garam masala.
- Prepare 1 tsp of kasuri methi.

- Peel and chop bottle gourd in big pieces..
- Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown..
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai add cumin seeds, when it crackle add onion paste and cook 1 minute. Add ginger garlic paste and saute..
- Add haldi powder, hing, red chilli powder, cumin powder, dry ginger powder, fennel seeds powder,coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, salt,curd and malai, mix well and cook 1 minute, keep stirring..
- Now add 1/2 cup of water and fried bottle gourd..
- Now cover and cook for 5 minutes on low flame..
- Serve hot with roti..
