Mango Basbousa instructions
- In a bowl add egg and sugar.Beat them well..
- Then add vanilla, oil, yoghurt. Mix all the ingredients well..
- Then add desicated coconut.Then add soji or semolina. Mix well..
- Then add salt and baking powder.Mix all the ingredients.Then add milk and milk powder.Mix well..
- Then pour all the mixture in a greased tin and let it rest for 1 hour.Then in preheated 180 degree oven bake the basbousa for 30 mins or until toothpick came out clean..
- In 1 hour resting of basbousa make the sugar syrup by mixing all the syrup ingredients in the pot and cook it for 3-5 mins or until the sugar melts..
- When you take out the basbousa from the oven immediately poke it and pour the sugar syrup ontop and rest it until it completely cool..
- Then demould the basbousa and garnish it with mango chunks and sprinkles....ENJOY....ππ.
